Documents required for a change-of-use application in Nice

In quota zones, only complete files take a place in the queue. One missing or illegible document and the place is lost. Here is the list, and what we check before every filing.

Mistakes that cost a place

  • A DPE made before 30 June 2021 (former method), or rated F or G.
  • A deed naming only one of two co-owning spouses.
  • Different floor areas on the DPE, deed and form.
  • An expired ID document.
  • A vague power of attorney that does not name the property.

Free assistance

We file your change-of-use application for you.

File prepared, documents checked, submitted on your behalf, online tracking. No fee, no commitment.

Owners living abroad

A passport is enough as ID. Documents in another language may need a translation, as the platform works in French. The simplest route is a power of attorney: we file in your name and you track everything online. See foreign owners.

Frequently asked questions

The file requires a DPE under 10 years old, made after 30 June 2021 and rated A to E (A to D from 2034). A property rated F or G first needs works, then a new assessment.
