After holiday letting · Nice

The mobility lease, what comes next after your change of use.

Your temporary authorisation is ending, or you could not get one in a quota zone? The French mobility lease (bail mobilité, created by the ELAN law) lets you rent your furnished flat for 1 to 10 months to tenants on assignment, internship or training. It is residential use: no authorisation, no quota.

And demand peaks in winter, when tourists are scarce. We manage it end to end, in English, with our parent company Cabinet Immobilier Nice.

  • No change of use, no quota
  • Tenants checked, proof required
  • Listed on Airbnb and monthly-rental platforms
  • 15% excl. VAT (18% incl. VAT) of rent, all included

Who looks for a mobility lease in Nice

Six profiles that fill the winter.

Hospital interns

French medical internships start in early November and early May: exactly six months, often in a city they don’t know. The winter semester fills the low tourist season.

Interns and apprentices

Université Côte d’Azur, EDHEC in Nice, SKEMA in Sophia Antipolis, the Paul Augier hotel school: end-of-study internships from January to June.

Consultants and engineers on assignment

Sophia Antipolis hosts assignments of three to nine months all year. The mobility lease suits them: furnished, no deposit, one month’s notice.

Transfers to Monaco and the airport

Employees transferred to the Principality or the airport who need a furnished base while they find a permanent home.

Project and event crews

Urban construction projects, the Carnival build-up, film shoots, trade fairs: teams staying several months, often housed by their employer.

Vocational training

Career changes, long training in healthcare, aerospace or hospitality: a tenant in vocational training is eligible.
